Cutler Real Estate asked Al a few questions so you can get to know him better, and here are Al's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
I have been in professional sales for 20+ years. I began my sales career in insurance and have owned 3 successful insurance agencies. After selling my insurance agencies, I entered the world of real estate and have never looked back! I have a BS in Food & Nutrition Science from Indiana University of PA in addition to a Post-baccalaureate degree in Accounting.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
I chose a career in real estate as I truly enjoy meeting different, interesting people from various walks of life on a daily basis. My clients have their own stories and often their stories are wrapped up in the property they’re selling or buying. Getting to know new people ensures that every day in this fast-paced career is different and engaging. Real estate allows me to flex my creative muscles as it provides daily opportunities to showcase my imaginative side - from choosing the perfect photos to highlight a property, to helping stage a property to coordinating client appreciation events! Selling or buying a house is a huge life event – it’s one of the biggest transactions many people will ever undertake – and as my client's Realtor, I am the person by their side throughout the whole process. I am there to provide my clients with reassurance and peace of mind with my extensive negotiations skills and extensive experience in the market.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
My wife & I just moved to Italian Village! We love the old world charm coupled with the recent revitalization in this Downtown Columbus community. Being able to walk to events, restaurants and shopping is great!
4. How do you spend your free time?
I like to spend time with family & friends, work out, love to eat at new places in Columbus and take advantage of the great Metro Park system in Central Ohio.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
- Wedding Ring
- Family photo albums
- My car
- College yearbooks
- My bike
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
