Cutler Real Estate asked Jessyka a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Jessyka's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
From 2007-2016 I owned and operated an Etsy shop designing and selling vinyl wall decals for business owners and homes. This was a valuable experience for me where I learned to run and operate a successful business. I learned the value of always putting my client first. Real Estate license in 2019
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
I am a people person who has a passion for serving and giving back to the community. Real estate provides me with an opportunity to meet people that I would have not otherwise known. No two stories shared are ever the same and I find that aspect of this career completely fascinating.
I love working with clients to achieve their goals to the best of my ability. Whether that comes from being an active listener, providing educated information for tough decisions or relieving stress, I welcome it all.
Matching people with the spaces where memories will be made is one of the most rewarding parts of a career in real estate. With years of experience being a successful small business owner I quickly learned that the most essential part to any career is to always put the clients first.
...and it is important to know that I do love houses. Old houses and new houses, dated houses and rehabbed houses, big houses and small houses.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
I am originally from way back west from the little town of Boise, Idaho. I transplanted to Pickerington, Ohio back in 2010 and currently reside there. This darling community has taken great care of my children and me. We have been blessed with great neighbors, friends, schools and experiences throughout the years.
4. How do you spend your free time?
Free time is such a precious concept. As a Mom of four the majority of my free time is spent catering to the needs of my tribe, which is okay with me. We attend many events in our community whether it be through church, school or sports, it seems like there is always somewhere to be. I look forward to the quality down time we have at home. The little moments of spontaneous laughter are so good for the soul. When my free time does not involve being a mom chauffeur, I enjoy running. Photography is a creative outlet I have enjoyed for many years. I am always up for an adventure or trying something new.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
I would definitely need to keep all four of my kids. Everything else, I could probably go without besides a toothbrush...
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
