Cutler Real Estate asked Linda a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Linda's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
I have been a licensed Realtor for 7 years, including management. I have 10 years of experience in banking, with 4 years in commercial lending. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Finance and an MBA with a management concentration.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
Growing up, my parents and grandparents purchased and rehabbed houses, and either sold them or kept them for rentals. There was always a yard to mow, an apartment to paint, or something that needed to be fixed. I was involved in all aspects of "the family business" for as long as I remember. Once our daughters were in college, it seemed only natural that I would find myself involved in real estate.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
My husband, Tim, and I raised our twin daughters in Plain Township, they are GlenOak grads, as am I. As a life-long resident of Canton, I have fond memories of shopping in downtown Canton as a child and working at the downtown banks as a young adult. Canton has such an interesting history and an exciting future, and I am proud to call it home.
4. How do you spend your free time?
My free time is usually centered around being with family. I love when the girls come home, friends come over, we eat and just catch up and have some laughs. There's nothing better than being with those you love.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
If I could keep only five possessions, I would definitely keep my computer so I stay in touch with what's happening in the world. My cell phone would also be a must to hear the voices of those I love and carry their pictures with me. I would definitely need a good pair of shoes and good reading glasses. Finally, even though I don't currently have pets, I would definitely keep any pets that I would have, since they are members of the family.
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
